Neal D. Kitterlin, Esq.
Neal D. Kitterlin has been with Ashman Law Offices, LLC since 2005, following his graduation from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he graduated in the top five percent of his class, was a member of the law review, and participated in the Honors Scholar Program. During his time at Chicago-Kent, Mr. Kitterlin sharpened his legal skills by participating in the school’s health law clinic and by serving as an extern to Magistrate Judge Martin C. Ashman, United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, where he learned the inner workings of a courtroom and helped draft legal opinions.
Upon joining Ashman Law Offices, LLC, Mr. Kitterlin has had a hand in a large variety of matters within the firm’s practice areas, including contract disputes, commercial mortgage foreclosures, drafting transactional documents, civil rights litigation, intellectual property disputes, amongst other areas, and has co-written a number of articles and presentations with Mr. Ashman. Along with his extensive legal experience, Mr. Kitterlin also has a science and engineering background, having attained a Bachelor’s of Science in chemical engineering from Louisiana Tech University.
Mr. Kitterlin and his wife, Jennifer, live in Matteson, Illinois with their young daughter. Along with his legal work, Mr. Kitterlin is also a published poet, with publications in numerous literary magazines.
